Supporting documents
To participate in a timed race, you will must provide supporting documents.
Licensee or not, please check the required documents, especially for the mention to choose on your medical certificate.
The French law No.99-223, relating to the protection of health athletes and the fight against doping, has been voted in the Assemblée Nationale on March 23, 1999. These provisions oblige every french or foreign participant to provide the proof of his ability to competition cycling. This ability must be proved by a medical certificate, delivered by a doctor.
TIMED RACES
You have an UFOLEP license
You must provide the copy of your valid license (2020 season).
You have a FFC, FSGT, FFTri license
The word “cycling” or “cyclosport” must be specifically appeared on your license. You must provide the copy of your valid license (2020 season) when you get your number.
You are licensed from UFOLEP cyclotouriste, FFCT or not licensed
You must provide a medical certificate of non contraindication for the practice of cycling competition dated less than a year the day of the race.
The certificate must be dated of less than a year the day of the race. Copies are accepted. The mention “competition cycling” is the only valid. The word “competition” must be used.
Medical certificates with following mentions won’t be accepted:
- bike aptitude
- cycle tourism aptitude
- sport aptitude
CYCLING TOUR
You do not have to provide a certificate medical to do the cycling tour.
